ABOUT RUBBER SHEETS

The main component of the cloth rubber sheet is mostly SBR, and NR, NBR, CR, EPDM and Silicone rubber are also used. It is reinforced with one or more layers of cotton, polyester, nylon or glass fiber fabric. This reinforcement gives an additional stability to the material in flange gasket applications where the mechanical connection is made and reduces the cold flow of the material where high compression loads are applied.
